ERIE, Pa. - The La Roche University softball team will travel to Erie, PA this Saturday, April 17th to take on Penn St. Behrend in the AMCC Games of the Week.

La Roche News and Notes

• The Redhawks enter the games of the week with a 4-4 overall record and 4-2 in conference play.
• LRU split their most recent series against Pitt-Greensburg, picking up the 7-3 win in game one before dropping the second game 6-4 to the Bobcats.
• Freshman UTIL Ashtin Hoover leads the AMCC with a .556 batting average. She ranks second in conference play with 11 hits and third with eight runs scored. Hoover also leads her team with 12 runs scored and a .667 slugging percentage.
• Senior 2B Devan Smith has a team-leading 11 RBIs and ranks second on the team with a .469 batting average.
• Senior P Alexa Young is tops in the AMCC with two saves,, while also ranking fifth with a 3.18 ERA. 

Penn St. Behrend News and Notes

• The Lions are 10-4 overall with a 4-2 mark in the AMCC. Behrend swept then-undefeated Pitt-Bradford on Wednesday to move up to a share of first place in the conference.
• Junior INF Ashleigh Schmidt had the game-winning hit in game two, sending home Angela Dale to secure the win in the bottom of the seventh.
• Freshman INF Maria Jones and freshman OF Kayla Lindberg tallied wins on the mound for Behrend. 
• The Lions hold down the AMCC leaderboard in RBIs with junior INF Kylee Bundy leading the way with 20, followed by senior C/3B Mackenzie McIntire with 17 and sophomore C/INF Cami McNany with 15. Jones leads the AMCC in stolen bases with 10, tallying two on Wednesday. 
• Penn State Behrend leads the AMCC in runs (103), doubles (29), triples (7), home runs (5), RBIs (95), and stolen bases (24).
