Waldrop Records Shutout in Game Two Against the Hawks

PITTSBURGH, PA - Emily Waldrop threw a gem on Saturday for the Redhawks, allowing zero runs and besting Hilbert by a score of 10-0

La Roche opened up the scoring in the first inning. Kelly Denk singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Waldrop was credited with the victory for the Redhawks. The hurler allowed two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out five and walking zero.

Hanna Coken took the loss for Hilbert. Coken lasted four and two-thirds innings, allowing 11 hits and eight runs while striking out one and walking one.

La Roche racked up 13 hits on the day. Denk, Ashtin Hoover, Macy Vignolini, Garrah Milochik, and Quinn Hughes all managed multiple hits for the team.

Denk led the Redhawks with three hits in four at bats. 

La Roche didn't commit a single error in the field. The shining star on defense today, Milochik had six chances in the field, the most on the team.
