Men's Soccer Bested by Bradford

BRADFORD, Pa. - Saturday aftenroon, the La Roche men's soccer team fell to Pitt-Bradford in their first conference road game of the season. The final score of Saturday's contest was 7-1. LRU now owns a 1-6 overall record this season and moves to 1-1 in conference play. The Panthers improve to 4-5-1 overall and 2-1 in AMCC action. 

Junior forward Ryan Truax (Chicora, PA / Karns City) scored the first goal of the game halfway through the first quarter, with no assist. Truax now how two goals on the season.

Unfortunately, the Panthers took over the rest of the game, scoring seven goals, four of them from Chase Rider. The Redhawks made a total of seven shots, three of which were registered as shots on the goal, versus Pitt-Bradford's twenty-nine shots, with fifteen of them being registered as shots on goal.

Junior midfielder Casey Hulbert (Robinson, PA / Montour) took over the goalie role for the last minute of the first period, and the entirety of the second. He registered six saves and allowed three goals.
