Redhawks Drop Matchup To Quakers

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – La Roche men's lacrosse welcomed Earlham to the Baierl Athletic Complex on Saturday, but fell to the Quakers 29-1.

Earlham did all the scoring in the first half, scoring five goals in the first and 12 in the second to take a 17-0 lead into the half.

The Quakers scored eight more goals in the third quarter as they would take a 25-0 edge into the fourth.

The first two goals of the fourth went to Earlham to take a 27-0 lead.

The Redhawks scored its lone goal a man up in the fourth quarter, when Isaiah Hubbard found the back of the net a man up, assisted by Anthony Grebiner.

The final two goals of the game were scored by the Quakers.

La Roche ended the game with 10 shots and three shots on goal.

Isaiah Hubbard led the team with five shots, while three Redhawks contributed to the three shots on goal.

Goalie Connor Radecki faced 56 shots in the contest and came up with 27 saves.

La Roche heads back on the road for its next matchup, as it travels to Bethany to face the Bison on Wednesday, Mar. 27. Opening faceoff is set for 7 p.m.
