La Roche Athletics Inducts 2010-11 Men's Basketball Team

The La Roche Athletic Department is proud to announce the induction of its first team into its Athletics Hall of Fame. The 2010-2011 La Roche Men's Basketball team left a lasting impact on the La Roche community. "This was a special team which was constructed by Coach Lang and built on the foundation of this program. All I tried to do was to continue the flow – the plan lead to a historic championship." – Head Coach Harry Jenkins

The Redhawks finished with an overall record of 25-3, a 17-1 AMCC Regular Season Title, an AMCC Tournament Championship, and La Roche's fist ever automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Other accomplishments throughout the year include: #20 National Ranking, #1 seed in the Mid-East Regional Ranking, a 16-game winning streak, AMCC Player of the year - Nathan Wojciechowski, AMCC Defensive Play of the Year - Mike Dixon, AMCC Tournament MVP – David Jackson, D3Hoops Middle Atlantic Region 3rd Team – Nathan Wojciechowski, and the D3Hoops Middle Atlantic Co Coaches of the year to Scott Lang and Harry Jenkins.

Throughout that season their togetherness was tested and their athletic abilities were on full display. By the end, they had accomplished more than any other team in the history of La Roche Athletics. We thank this team for being an example on and off the court, for their success within the AMCC and the NCAA, and for setting a new expectation of winning within our department.
