PITTSBURGH, PA - In their first matchup since before the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference named this contest the game of the week. 

Rightfully so, this game was one with electricity flowing through the air. 

Following suit of the women, four of the men joined the double digit point club. 50 points of La Roche's final 88 were from the bench. 

Both of the Redhawk leading scorers were off the bench, in fact Dominic Elliot was out of the gate today with 14 points, and also the highest rebounder capturing seven rebounds. La Roche's Jordan Grayson followed right behind him with 13 points. 

The LRU defense forced 13 turnovers and gained 16 points from the turnovers and gained six points in fast breaks. 

In the paint the Redhawks earned 28 points. Shooting 47 percent from field goal range, and 19 points from second chances. 

Isaiah Thomas also went 100% from the freethrow line. 

The Redhawks are back in action on Monday, at Mount Union at 7:00 PM.
