AUBURNDALE, FL - The baseball team of La Roche University was able to continue their win streak in the RussMatt Invitational. The team took down the Ohio Northern Polar Bears with a final score of 8-5. 

Standing out today for the Redhawks was Justin Stancovich who hit a home run to right field. Stancovich earned himself two RBIs. Tying him in hits was Christian Melendez with two. Nathan Stutz, and Ryan Lynn both also contributed two runs batted in, Jake Bredl contributed one. 

Anthony Cioffi, Lynn, Stutz, and Dylan Kurcon all had a hit in today's matchup. 

Doing the pitching today was Shane Murphy. He threw seven innings, and in that time only allowed four runs. He also struck out one batter. 

Finishing off the game was Shawn Marcellus who pitched the final two innings. He faced 11 batters and only allowed one run. He also struck out one batter. 

The Redhawks have one more faceoff in Florida before they make the trip back to snowy Pittsburgh. They'll square off with Beloit tomorrow at 9:00 AM.
