McCANDLESS, Pa. - The women's cross country won their home invitational in a tri-meet against conference opponents Pitt Greensburg and Mt. Aloysius this morning. This weeks AMCC Runner of the Week, Freshman Cara Rodgers, was the top finisher among 14 runners finishing with a time of 26:46 (average mile: 8:37). The win today is the first of Rodgers collegiate career. The course set up by Head Coach Jeff Dailey went around the the Sisters of Divine Providence and La Roche's campus. Dailey was able to map out a course that was entirely grass, a trait of an authentic cross country race. Today was the final race of the regular season for the Redhawks. La Roche runs their final race at the AMCC Championship on November 2nd at Penn St. Behrend.
