Freshmen Lead Men's and Women's XC at Behrend Twilight Invite

ERIE, Pa. - The La Roche University cross country team headed up north to participate in the Behrend Twilight Invite hosted by conference opponent, Penn St. Behrend. The women's team placed 13th out of 13 competitors and the men placed 12th out of 13 teams.

Freshman Cara Rodgers was La Roche's top finisher on the women's team for the second straight invite with a time of 30:40.7 (avg mile: 8:13), good enough for 67th overall. It's also a significant improvement from her last race at Bethany (31:25, avg mile: 8:26).

Similarily, on the men's side, Freshman Andy Domasky finished as the top runner for the second straight invite with a time of 32:33.7 (avg mile: 6:32), good enough for 57th overall.
