Title: Assistant Coach

Coach Weber enters her seventh season the assistant coach of the women's volleyball program in 2020-21. Prior to becoming the assistant coach, she attended La Roche College from 2009-2014, graduating cum laude with a bachelor’s in Interior Design and a minor in Sustainable Studies. Shelby was named “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges 2013 and 2014”, received the La Roche College President’s Leadership and Scholarship Nomination, and was inducted into the La Roche College Honors Program for Honors in the Department of Interior Design.

Coach Weber has 5 years coaching experience throughout her high school and college years including Club Volleyball, Middle School. She played at Unionville High School and Liberty Belles Volleyball Club in Kennett Square, PA as a setter and libero. She continued her volleyball career at La Roche College as a libero and was named captain all 4 years.

Coach Weber helped lead the Redhawks to their first playoff berth in fifteen years and won the program's first-ever AMCC Tournament game. The team matched their performance in 2015 when they defeated Penn State Behrend in the AMCC Tournament Quarterfinal. Outside of coaching for La Roche, she coaches for Pitt United Girls Volleyball, a high school level travel organization. She believes in coaching mental toughness and preparing athletes for their professional careers.  

Coach Weber lives and works in Lawrenceville at Desmone Architects.
