Three Redhawks Receive All-Conference Honors

PITTSBURGH, PA - Three La Roche Women's Volleyball athletes were honored with making the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference All-Conference teams. Each team only has 7 players that get a spot, meaning these three athletes are in the top 21 student-athletes for in their sport this season. 

Bethany Nulph

La Roche Women's Volleyball player Bethany Nulph (OH) made 1st team all-conference. It comes as no surprise as the super senior has shown incredible skill in her five years at La Roche. Nulph has collected a total of 629 kills and 2,219 attacks since her start as a freshman. Additionally, Nulph tallies 643 digs and 782 points, averaging 2.6 points per set. Nulph also made AMCC player of the week in early October of this year. This was Nulph's final season at La Roche.

Kenzie Kerkan

La Roche Women's Volleyball member Kenzie Kerkan (Libero) made 2nd team all-conference. Over the years the junior has secured her place as a critical Redhawk on the court. Kerkan has competed in 48 matches overall and has recorded 121 total attacks and 45 points. In two years, her freshman season was canceled due to Covid, Kerkan has tallied 557 total digs, averaging 3.38 per set. You can expect to see the Redhawk again next season.

Quinn Hughes

La Roche Women's Volleyball player Quinn Hughes (MH) made 3rd team all-conference. Only a sophomore, Hughes has 114 Block assists and 42 block solos. The Redhawk has collected 303 points, 1.8 per set in her time at LRU. Additionally, Hughes tallies 197 kills and 720 total attacks. Luckily for the Redhawks, this star player will be sticking around for the seasons to come.
