PITTSBURGH, PA - Women's Volleyball opened up conference play this evening against the Penn State-Behrend Lions. A matchup predicted to be so intense that the AMCC named it the volleyball game of the week. The Redhawks were able to take one from the Lions, but in the end could not win the battle.

• At the net the team collected a total of 20 overall blocks during the series 

  • Rossi, Quinn Hughes, McCune, Shelby Lion, Kalli Grine, and Lauren Tomasko were all part of the team's stellar defense and earned recognition. 

• Rossi led in assists with 21

  • Madison Johnson was shortly behind with 11
