PITTSBURGH, PA -- The La Roche women's volleyball team fell to Washington & Jefferson in straight sets (25-20, 25-20, 25-23) on Tuesday night. W&J improves to 5-6 with the non-conference victory while the Redhawks fall to 3-11.

Despite the loss, La Roche received some terrific invidual performances. Laura Nath finished in double digit kills for the fourth straight match and Maddie Gestrich and Sarah Storino each reached double digit assists. Hannah Scott registered a game-high 21 digs just a day after becoming the fastest Redhawk to 1000 career digs. Nath and Toni Torchia both reached double digit digs and Scott and Torchia each contributed 2 serving aces apiece. 

The Redhawks conclude non-conference play this weekend at the York College Tournament.
