LATROBE, Pa. – La Roche women's tennis traveled to St. Vincent on Sunday ito close out the fall in doubleheader action, but unfortunately fell 9-0 in both matches.
In match #1 doubles play, the Redhawks had three matches, falling 8-0 in two of the three, while #1 doubles ended in an 8-1 score.
In singles play, the Bearcats won all six matched, taking three matches 6-0, 6-0, while #3 single competitor Klover Haberthier for the Redhwaks fell by scores of 6-2, 6-1, #4 singles Catherine Moran ending 6-1, 6-0 and #5 singles Brianna Lynn dropping her match 6-0, 6-2.
In the second match, Emily Lyon and Teresa Munoz Torrado fell by a close score of 8-4 in doubles, while the other two ended 8-0.
This match saw five of six singles matchups end 6-0, 6-0 in favor of St. Vincent, as Lynn picked up the only sets, falling 6-1, 6-1.
