BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – La Roche women's tennis traveled to Geneva on Tuesday night, but unfortunately fell 9-0.
In doubles play, the Redhawks had three matches, falling in one of them 8-2, while the #1 grouping of Emily Lyon and Klover Haberthier and the #3 group of Tara Lasher and Kinsey Sperling fell by a score of 8-2.
In singles play, the Golden Tornadoes took three matches 6-0, 6-0, while #1 singles Emily Lyon, #3 singles Catherine Moran and #6 singles Brianna Wynn all picked up a set, with Lyon and Moran falling 6-0, 6-1 and Wynn 6-1, 6-0.
La Roche returns to the court, Thursday, Oct. 6 for a 4 p.m. for a conference match against Penn St.-Behrend on the road.
