VALENCIA, Pa. - The La Roche women's tennis team dropped their final regular season match of the season to Penn St. Behrend Friday night at the Lakevue Athletic Club, 7-2. The Redhawks finish the 2021 spring regular season with a 2-3 overall and conference record. LRU's three seniors, Jazmyn Davis, Allie Mroczkowski and Rochelle Selzer were all recognized as a part of Senior Day. 

With Friday night's loss, the Redhawks will be the fourth seed in the AMCC tournament and face number one seed Pitt Greensburg on Saturday, April 24th. Senior Rochelle Selzer (Pittsburgh, PA/Moon) and freshman Isabella Lane (Lower Burrell, PA/Lower Burrell) picked up LRU's two wins on the evening. Selzer defeated her opponent at second singles 6-2, 6-3 and Lane defeated her opponent at third singles 7-6 (8-6), 6-3. Selzer is a perfect 4-0 this season at second singles and Lane is 4-1 in singles matches.
