VALENCIA, Pa. - The La Roche women's tennis team defeated Mt. Aloysius College Friday evening, 7-2. The Redhawks improve to 2-1 overall on the season and in AMCC play. Tonight's win is LRU's largest margin of victory since October 9th, 2018. Tonight's victory marks the third time in the last 10 years La Roche tennis has started it's season 2-1.

All three Redhawks doubles teams earned a win Friday evening. At first doubles, Alexandra Jaksec and Isabella Lane won 8-2. At second doubles, Jazmyn Davis and Rochelle Selzer were paired for the first time this season. They won in a two set nail-biter 7-7, 7-5. Allie Mroczkowski and Tess Hoffman won 8-6 at third doubles.

LRU took the singles matches 4-2 overall over the Mounties. All four Redhawk wins were in two sets.
