VALENCIA, Pa. - The La Roche women's tennis team competed in their second conference game of the season last night against Franciscan at the Lakevue Athletic Club. The Redhawks fell to the Barons by a final score of 9-0. After last night, the Barons women's tennis team has now won their previous seven matchups against La Roche dating back to 2013. The last three of which, including last night, have been sweeps.

Match Highlights
- At first singles, Junior Rochelle Selzer dropped her first individual match on the season in two sets (6-0, 6-2)
- At second singles, Freshman Alexandra Jaksec also dropped her first match of the season in two sets (6-2, 6-3)
- Between the remaining four singles matches, the Redhawks only won one game out of 49.
- In doubles, La Roche was swept in all three matches by a total score 24-0
- Last night marks the third sweep for the Barons this season
