GREENVILLE, PA -- La Roche College Tennis came back from Thiel College as winners of a 7-2 match on Tuesday evening. The Redhawks close their regular season schedule with a 3-6 record. They will next hit the road for an AMCC Quarterfinal match on October 21 at Mt. Aloysius.

La Roche grabbed a 2-1 lead over Thiel after doubles play. Both #2 doubles (Rebecca Franks / Alexandra Mroczkowski) and #3 doubles (Jazmyn Davis / Esther Wood) earned 8-4 victories.

The Redhawks won 5 of 6 singles positions. Rochelle Selzer (#1 singles) and Alexandra Mroczkowski (#5 singles) dropped just two game in their victories. Wood won her first ever collegiate match, taking #6 singles 6-2, 6-3. Both Kirsten King (#2 singles) and Jazmyn Davis earned three set wins.
