Lozano enters his 26th season as the Head Coach of the La Roche University women's soccer team and is the longest-tenured among AMCC women’s soccer coaches. During his years of coaching college soccer, Miguel has established himself as one of the sport's most consistent winners sporting a 231-193-38 (.541) lifetime record. The 231 wins rank among the all-time leaders of coaches with a minimum of 20 years at a NCAA Division III schools.

In his career, Miguel teams have made the AMCC post-season playoffs in 22 years, including two appearances in the AMCC Championship game. In 2002 The Redhawks posted the best regular season record and hosted the AMCC tournament. The team also received ECAC Tournament invitations in 2002, 2004 and 2009.

Miguel’s list of accomplishments is impressive. In his 25 years at La Roche, 91 players have won all-conference honors, including three Newcomers of the Year Awards and three Conference MVP’s. Miguel has been named AMCC Coach of the Year twice.

Since 2000, he has organized eight trips to Europe with the women’s program, playing games in England, France, Italy, Wales, Portugal, and Spain.

Miguel engages in numerous soccer activities in addition to his coaching role at La Roche. He is the co-founder and President of FC Pittsburgh Soccer Club, a youth soccer club dedicated to serving the needs of the committed soccer player through high-quality instruction and coaching. He is also the director of the World Class Sports Camps LLC. @ La Roche University.

Earlier in his coaching career, he coached at all youth levels for North Hills Soccer Club (NHSC).  As a coach for the Pittsburgh Strikers Soccer Club, his team won State Championships in 1995 and 1996. In 1996, his team won the prestigious Continental Alliance Tournament (NIKE CUP) in Philadelphia. His youth teams have played in tournament finals in Eastern and Western Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, North Carolina, Florida, Illinois, Virginia, and Ohio. Miguel was also a member of the PA West and Region 1 Olympic Development Program state and regional coaching staff.
