BEAVER FALLS, Pa. - La Roche women's soccer continued its road trip on Tuesday night, falling to the Geneva Golden Tornadoes 4-0.
Geneva wasted no time striking first, scoring just 2:24 into the match to take the lead.
The Golden Tornadoes would open the game up not much later, scoring two goals in 1:27 at 10:08 and 11:35 to take a 3-0 lead, which would be the score going into the break.
The final goal of the game came in the second half, when Geneva scored at the 65:59 mark.
The Redhawks just weren't able to get the offense going, taking just two shots in the game, one by graduate student Alexis Nudds and one by freshman Alaitz Urutxurtu Irasuegi, but neither would be on net.
Julianna Hornikel started in net, facing four shots in her 11:35 of action, making just one stop. Danielle Dominick played the remaining 78:25 and stopped eight of nine shots that came her way.
La Roche will look to end the early losing streak on Saturday, Sept. 14 when it travels to Maryland to face Garrett College at 1 p.m.
