PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The La Roche women's soccer team has released their schedule for the 2020 fall season.

In 2019, the Redhawks narrowly missed the AMCC postseason by just half a game, going 4-5-1 in conference play and 7-8-1 overall. LRU kicks off the 2020 season with back-to-back home matches against Geneva on Tuesday, September 1st and Muskingum on Friday, September 4th. The Redhawks then play three of their next four games on the road against Waynesburg (9/9), Carnegie Mellon (9/14) and D'Youville (9/19), hosting Westminster at the Baierl Athletic Complex turf field on Friday, September 11th.

La Roche plays their final non-conference home game against Thiel on Tuesday, September 26th before opening up AMCC action against Hilbert on Saturday, September 26th also at home. The black, red and white travel to St. Vincent for their final non-conference contest on Saturday, September 28th. Women's soccer then plays seven straight conference games in the month of October, beginning with Pitt.-Bradford on Saturday, October 3rd.

After a week off to prepare for mid-terms, LRU returns to action at home on Saturday, October 10th against Medaille. The Redhawks travel to Penn St. Altoona (10/13) and Penn St. Behrend (10/17) before returning home to face Mt. Aloysius (10/21) and Alfred State (10/24). La Roche's graduating class will be recognized on October 24th as part of "Senior Day". LRU closes out the season at the reigning AMCC champions house, Pitt.-Greensburg. Last season, the Redhawks were the only team in the country to shutout undefeated Pitt.-Greensburg, tying the Bobcats 0-0 in double-overtime in the final game of 2019.
