PITTSBURGH, PA -- The La Roche Redhawks fell to 0-4 in the AMCC after a 3-0 defeat to Franciscan on Wednesday.

Franciscan snuck a shot inside the left post for a 1-0 lead less than two minutes in.

The Redhawks had quality first half chances. Kerri Phillis clipped the post and Alondra Gonzalez just missed on two occasions.

Franciscan used a counterattack to extend their lead to 2-0 ten minutes into the second half. The Barons added a third goal with just two minutes left and went on to earn the victory.

Phillis had three shots on goal and Gonzalez two.
