Early action and extended time deliver La Roche a 1-1 tie.

Pittsburgh, PA – The La Roche women's soccer team battled opponent Pitt Bradford today in a contest which recorded all one hundred and ten minutes before a 1-1 tie. The results continue a streak for the club that has run the last three weeks without a defeat and brings their overall conference record to 4-2-1.

The visitors started the action early in the game when Megan Stuck scored (2:26). However, freshmen Amber Kubiak found senior Vanessa Ceravolo streaking up the middle for the equalizer (11:26) bringing the score to 1-1.

The initial scoring from both clubs would hold up over the remainder of the game and through overtime. La Roche would lead a flurry of mini attacks throughout with a total of twelve shots on goal. The visiting Panthers defense would keep them off of the scoreboard on the remaining eleven of them.

The tie for the game also keeps La Roche in second place in a crowded AMCC seeding group. They will look to challenge the last remaining undefeated team, Penn State Behrend, when they travel to Erie on Saturday October 21st.
