STEUBENVILLE, PA – Maria DiPerna made 5 saves to record her first shutout of the season in the Lady Redhawks (5-6-3, 1-3-2) 0-0 double overtime draw with Franciscan University (3-8-3, 1-2-2) in conference action on Tuesday.

La Roche held the shot advantage in regulation and attempted two corner kicks in the extra frame but could not find the back of the net.

Alex Rodgers led La Roche with 2 shots on goal and Bethanie Moreschi attempted 2 shots. Lindsey McKay, Emily Irwin, and Chelsea Bahorich registered a shot apiece. La Roche's backline of Katherine Golebie, Morgan Whitney, Sarah Stierer, and Hayley Shaw did a great job to help DiPerna preserve the shutout.

La Roche women's soccer will host Medaille College on Saturday at 1:00PM in a crucial conference game. Last season the Lady Redhawks fell to the host Mavericks 1-0.
