
NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. - La Roche women's lacrosse not only won its first AMCC Championship this past Saturday, but now have piled up the AMCC All-Conference honors, earning three of the major player awards and have six players named All-Conference. The league announced the selections on Tuesday morning.
KIKI NEMCEK
Nemcek earns her second consecutive First Team All-AMCC nod and now can add the title of AMCC Defensive Player of the Year to her list of accolades.
Nemcek was arguably the best all-around player for the Redhawks in 2025. On the offensive end, Nemcek finished with 31 goals (5th AMCC), six assists and 37 points (7th AMCC).
On the defensive side of the ball, Nemcek's name is noticed not only within the conference, but nationally. She led the AMCC/NCAA DIII with a nation best, 67 caused turnovers and also led the nation in caused turnovers per game at 4.47.
Nemcek's 4.93 ground balls per game ranked her T-4th in the country and her 74 total ground balls not only led the AMCC, but ranked her 9th nationally. Her 60 draw controls also placed her 2nd in the AMCC.
JASEY REISER
Reiser put together on of the best single seasons in program history on the offensive end, earning her Co-AMCC Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-AMCC.
Reiser ended the season tied for the conference lead in points (76), while scoring 48 goals (3rd AMCC) and assisted on 28 goals (2nd AMCC). As the primary draw control specialist for the Redhawks, she reeled in an AMCC leading 89 on the year.
On the defensive end, Reiser was third on the team with 41 ground balls and caused 18 turnovers, which T-4th on the team.
ALECIA D'URSO
It took D'Urso little time to etch her name in the La Roche women's lacrosse record book, on her way to earning AMCC Newcomer of the Year and First Team All-AMCC.
D'Urso established herself as an offensive threat for the future, scoring a program record and AMCC leading 55 goals on the year, while adding 21 assists to tie the AMCC lead in points with teammate Reiser at 76.
D'Urso's shot percentage was stellar as well, connecting on .632% of her shots, which places her 20th nationally in NCAA DIII.
D'Urso also contributed 26 ground balls and 15 caused turnovers to her season total on the defensive end.
JULIANNA HORNIKEL
Hornikel was arguably right behind teammate Nemcek in the AMCC Defensive Player of the Year race and the nationally recognized goalkeeper earned First Team All-AMCC honors.
Hornikel finished the season leading the AMCC in almost every major statistical category, including a 6.00 goals against average, .592 save percentage, 87 goals allowed and was 2nd in the AMCC in saves with 126.
Hornikel's .592 save percentage ranks first in the country in NCAA DIII, while her 6.00 goals against average is 3rd best in the nation.
Furthermore, Hornikel ended the season 2nd on the team and T-3rd in the AMCC with 45 ground balls, while causing 18 turnovers to T-4th on the team.
ALEX MECCHIA
Mecchia was a 2023-24 All-AMCC women's soccer selection and now she can add 2025 First Team All-AMCC in women's lacrosse honoree to her incredible dual sport career.
Mecchia was a key piece to the creation of the Redhawks offense this year, as her mobility, speed and field awarness was a danger to the opposition when she was clearing the ball.
She ended the season with 15 goals, 10 assists and 25 points on the offensive end, countering that production, placing fourth on the team with 37 ground balls and was 2nd on the team and 6th in the AMCC with 22 caused turnovers.
KAYLA MULL
Another women's soccer star at La Roche, the defender on the pitch brough her skill set to the lacrosse field last season, but after suffering a season ending injury, returned even better in 2025 to earn First Team All-AMCC.
Mull finished the year 3rd amongst defenders in the AMCC in total caused turnovers with 21 and collected 30 ground balls on the season, 6th best in the AMCC by a defensive player.
Mull anchored a La Roche defense that allowed just 87 goals on the year (5.80 per game), including just 27 in AMCC play, an average of 4.50 per contest.
