
PITTSBURGH, Pa. - La Roche women's lacrosse once again swept the AMCC Player of the Week awards, the final set of the season, announced by the conference on Monday.
D'Urso was named AMCC Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season.
D'Urso played a pivotal role in La Roche winning its first AMCC Regular Season Championship, providing a spark on the offensive end in a 16-9 win over Mt. Aloysius.
D'Urso scored four goals and assisted on another four to be a part of 50% of the Redhawk goals scored in the game. She enters the postseason leading the AMCC in scoring (69 points), goals (51) and is third in assists (18).
Nemcek earned her fourth AMCC Defensive Player of the Week award this year.
Nemcek helped lead the Redhawks to their first AMCC Regular Season Title in program history.
In the 16-9 victory on Mount Aloysius in the regular season finale, Nemcek ended the day with nine caused turnovers, five ground balls and 10 draw controls.
On the offensive end, Nemcek chipped in a pair of goals and a pair of assists.
Nemcek currently sits second nationally in caused turnovers per game (3.92), is tied third nationally in caused turnovers (51) and ranks 10th nationally in ground balls per game (4.69).
