
PITTSBURGH, Pa. - For the second straight week, La Roche women's lacrosse swept the AMCC Player of the Week awards, announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.
This is Reiser's third AMCC Player of the Week award and second on the offensive end of the field.
Reiser had yet another fantastic offensive week for the Redhawks as they went 2-0.
In Wednesday's win over Ursuline, Reiser came through with seven goals, three assists, two ground balls, 11 draw controls and one caused turnover.
She followed that performance in Saturday's win over Alfred State with two goals, four assists, two ground balls and three more draw controls.
For the week, Reiser scored nine goals, added seven assists, totaled 16 points, had four ground balls, 14 draw controls and the caused turnover.
She currently leads the AMCC in scoring with 53 points and assists with 22.
Nemcek earned her second AMCC Defensive Player of the Week honor this week.
Nemcek dominated on the defensive end for the Redhawks in their 2-0 week.
In Wednesday's victroy over Ursuline, Nemcek scooped up seven ground balls, picked up five draw controls and caused four turnovers, while scoring a pair of goals.
In Saturday's win over Alfred State, she added another five ground balls, six caused turnovers, a draw control and scored two more goals.
For the week, she finished with 12 ground balls, 10 caused turnovers, six draw controls and four goals.
Nemcek is currently tied second nationally in caused turnovers per game at 3.78 and leads the AMCC in ground balls and caused turnovers.
