NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. - La Roche women's lacrosse earned both honors for the AMCC's Weekly Awards, as Jasey Reiser and Julianna Hornikel were named Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week.

Reiser had a strong start to the 2024 season, picking up where she left off in 2022, after missing the 2023 season.

Reiser netted a pair of goals for the Redhawks, alongside three ground balls and forced three turnovers in the opener against Wilson, earning her AMCC Offensive Player of the Week.

AMCC Defensive Player of the Week was awarded to Hornikel, as the AMCC's Co-Defensive Preseason Player of the Year had a strong showing in goal in the season opener.

Hornikel halted 15 shots the Phoenix got on the cage, while also collecting five ground balls and forcing a turnover as well.

La Roche has its home opener upcoming, taking place Thursday, Mar. 7 at 4 p.m., when the Redhawks welcome Waynesburg.
