Women's Lacrosse Defeated by Seahawks

PITTSBURGH, PA - This afternoon the campus of La Roche University started their day with a women's lacrosse game against St. Mary's College of Maryland. 

The Redhawks played today's game to bring awareness to diversity and inclusion in sports and each team member played for a cause near and dear to their hearts. 

Today's goal scorer was Jasey Reiser. Reiser was able to get two goals off on a tough Seahawk defense. Reiser was once assisted by Malia Sigg

Defensively, Sigg went to work and caused two turnovers. She was also able to fire off one shot. 

Cece Liguori was able to win the Redhawks five draws, and she also snagged two ground balls. 

In goal Tara Lasher hung tough and made eight saves in today's contest. 

La Roche's final game of the season will take place Wednesday at 4:00 PM against Mount Aloysius.
