
PITTSBURGH, Pa. – La Roche women's bowling took part in AMCC #2 (traditional play) on Saturday and Sunday, but in the end, were unable to come away from the seven matches with a victory.
On Saturday, the Redhawks took part in four matches and then closed Sunday with three more matches.
La Roche totaled 4,327 pins over the seven matches, giving itself an average score of 123.6 per game.
On Saturday, La Roche had two close matchups to start, falling to Penn State Behrend, 799-694 and Alvernia, 668-647. The other two defeats came against Hilbert and Pitt-Bradford.
On Saunday, the Redhawks fell in their matchups to St. Vincent, William Smith and Pitt-Greensburg.
Tayla Germanich once again shined for La Roche, ending day one in sixth place in the individual standings, before finising the weekend in 10th place with an average score of 165.86.
Crystal Linn ended the weekend with the best single-game total, bowling a 198 in the opener against Penn State Behrend.
