PITTSBURGH, Pa. – La Roche women's bowling opened the 2024-25 season on Sunday afternoon, hosting the Unicorn Invitational at Deer Lakes Bowl.

Unfortunately, the Redhawks ended the day with an 0-5 mark.

La Roche totaled 3,079 pins over the five matches, giving itself an average per game score of 615.8 and an aver per player score of 123.2.

The Redhawks opened and closed the day with matchups against Ursuline. The first meeting saw the red and black fall 799-595, while matchup two ended 769-570.

The other three opponents for La Roche included St. Vincent, falling 879-626, Penn State Behrend (841-636) and the closes matchup of the day against Alvernia (799-652).

The Redhawks, despite only one game day so far, closes the 2024 portion of the schedule next Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 16 and 17 in AMCC #1 play, from Sunset Bowl in Waterloo, N.Y.
