La Roche Announces 2022-23 Women's Bowling Schedule

La Roche Announces 2022-23 Women's Bowling Schedule

The La Roche Women's Bowling team is back at it again, preparing for the 2022-23 season that lays ahead of them. With the loss of only one player and the addition of two we can expect to see some talent shine in this upcoming season!

2021-22 Season

Last year the Redhawks fought hard to make a name for themselves among the many AMCC competitors. One La Roche bowler who certainly stood out was Junior, Ashley Kennedy. Kennedy, known as a consistent bowler, made the AMCC Bowling All Conference Third-Team last year. She holds several third place finishes for the AMCC and cleans up 92% of her spares. Kennedy also totaled about 19 strikes a day and was third overall in the Unicorn Invitational. Another Redhawk that made a mark in the AMCC conference was Winter Brown. Brown was named to the AMCC All Conference Second-Team. Only a freshman at the time, Brown finished first of 57 other bowlers in the second AMCC round last season. She had her highest game versus Medaille with an impressive score of 243.

Lost and Gained Redhawks

The Redhawks only lost one senior after last season, Alyssa Smith. Her sophomore year, Smith totaled 116 strikes and 183 spares (second most on her team that year). Ashley Kennedy will step up to fill the senior position on the team. We look forward to seeing Kennedy lead the other Redhawks through a successful season.

The new Redhawks flying in are Brooke Love, Crystal Lynn, and Cassie Quatman. We anticipate that the three will assist LRU in an amazing season and can't wait to see them grow as players along the way.

Make sure you make an effort to keep up what these ladies are doing this season because they're prepared to take the conference by storm.
