Redhawks Finish Fourth in AMCC Round Robin

The La Roche University women's bowling team travelled to compete in the second AMCC Round Robin held in Bradford, PA on February 5-6.

Ashley Kennedy had a consistent day on Saturday averaging 188 and leading the team to a 2-2 record with wins over Penn State Behrend (771-769) and Mount Aloysius (806-723) Ashley Kennedy finished 3rd overall with a 180 average for the weekend.   

Day 2 started with a win over Pitt Greensburg (731-688) and finished strong with a win against Medaille (880-817); led by Winter Brown's 243 game. 

Winter Brown had an amazing day on Sunday averaging 209 (185-196-212-243).  She led all bowlers (based on 8 games) in the field of 57, averaging 189.5 for the tournament.

The Redhawks finished the AMCC Round Robin #2 in 4th place with a 4-4 record and averaged 161.5 as a team.  Combined with the 4-4 record from the AMCC Round Robin #1  (8-8 overall), La Roche is heading to the AMCC Championships as the #5 seed.  The AMCC Champion ships will be held March 25-27 in Beaver Falls, PA.
