PITTSBURGH, Pa. – La Roche women's basketball was right back to their winning ways, thanks to a record setting game by Alexis Robison, as the Redhawks took down Hilbert, 105-42.
The opening quarter was all La Roche, after being tied 2-2 with 7:45 to go, a 20-0 run followed by the red and black, taking an eventual 29-5 lead into the second.
The Redhawks opened the second with a 10-0 run to move ahead 39-5 and after a bucket by the Hawks, La Roche went on a 13-0 run to make the score 52-7 and took a 60-18 lead into the break.
Out of the locker room, the red and black scored 14 of the first 16 points, moving the edge to 74-20 and took an 83-25 lead into the fourth.
In the final quarter, La Roche got the better of Hilbert by five points and cruised to the victory.
For the game, the Redhawks shot 56.8% (42-for-74) from the floor and 15-for-27 (55.6%) from deep. From the charity stripe, they went 6-for-11 (54.5%).
On the other side, the Hawks went on to shoot 27.1% (13-for-48) from the field, 2-for-7 from deep (28.6%) and 14-for-19 (73.7%) from the foul line.
Four Redhawks ended the night in double figures, led by Robison's record setting game.
Robison netted a career-high 42 points on 16-for-24 shooting, including a program, single game record nine three-pointers made, while adding five rebounds, three assists and four steals.
Robison broke the previous record on today's Hall of Fame day, that was held by Casie Cygan, a year after her 2024 Hall of Fame induction, who hit eight in a game.
Makayla Abram followed with 20 points on 9-for-12 shooting, adding eight rebounds and four assists.
Jazmine Dunn contributed 13 points, seven rebounds, nine assists and four steals, while Dasja Anderson scored 10 points with three assists and two steals.
La Roche hits the road for its next matchup on Wednesday, Feb. 12 against Pitt-Greensburg. Opening tip is slated for 7 p.m.
