PITTSBURGH, PA- After securing their first win against Buffalo State last Tuesday, the La Roche Women's Basketball team took on Baldwin Wallace. It was a tough game and ultimately the Redhawks could not get the lead. 

Kicking off the game by netting the first La Roche points was Machia Hairston. The guard shot two for two in free throws and totaled 10 points. Though her point average wasn't as high as Redhawks like Danajah Sanders, Hairston was a force on the court. Hairston kept the team energy high and never once backed down from Baldwin Wallace. 

Danajah Sanders was Baldwin Wallace's biggest obstacle on the court this afternoon. In the final minutes, Sanders managed to net over half of the Redhawks points. In addition to her 24 points, Sanders shot five for five in free throws and netted the only three-pointer for LRU.

The Redhawks will resume their schedule after the Thanksgiving break next Tuesday against Carnegie Mellon.
