PITTSBURGH, PA - Today the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference released the 2021-22 all-conference honors. We are proud to say three Redhawks were honored.

Ayanna Mazyck

This year Mazyck has been the driving source for this Redhawk team. Her efforts did not go unnoticed and today she was named AMCC Player of the Year. She was also named to the all-conference First Team. So far this season Mazyck totaled seven double doubles this season. So far the senior has 281 points, and she's sure to rack up more this weekend. Mazyck finished the year shooting 42.4 percent from the field, and 26.5 from the three point line. She's also captured a total of 183 rebounds.

Makayla Abram

Makayla Abram, a freshman, was named AMCC Newcomer of the Year, an honor reserved for the most impressive performing freshman in the conference. Abram is certainly deserving of the award as she has been a consistent player for the Redhawks. Currently, she averages 12.4 points per game, with a field goal average of 50.2 percent. So far this season she has a total of 309 points, and captured 159 rebounds. Make sure to tune into the broadcast this weekend to watch Abrams and the other Lady Redhawks take on the Flying Dutch.

Danajah Sanders

Sanders was named to the AMCC all-conference second team, and she is so deserving. Sanders averages 13.7 points per game, to equal out 40.2 percent from the field, and 31.4 percent from behind the arc. Sanders so far this season has recorded 328 points, but that number is likely to rise over the weekend. She has also recorded 52 steals.
