Pittsburgh, PA - In this week's matchup the Mounties (2-10, 3-2) and the Redhawks (7-5, 3-2) battled it out in the 'Burgh. With both teams at full capacity it was bound to be nothing short of a competitive matchup. 

La Roche showed how strong they can be in the paint tonight. They racked up 40 points in tonight's contest. LRU also gained 31 points from turnovers, 16 points from second chances, and 14 points from fast breaks. 

The leading Lady Redhawk tonight was Ayanna Mazyck, who shot 64% from field goal range in tonight's matchup. The senior averages 11.9 points per game, and about seven rebounds. Mazyck put another double double in the stat line tonight. She netted 21 points, and 11 rebounds. Leading the team in both. 

Following right behind Mazyck in both categories was Makayla Abram. Abram completed 14 points, and captured eight total rebounds. 

Danajah Sanders led the charge with seven assists. She paired this with six points. 

The Redhawks are back in action this Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 2 PM in the Kerr Fitness and Sports Complex.
