Jenna Cole Named AMCC Athlete of the Week

McCANDLESS, Pa. - Tuesday afternoon, the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) announced Senior forward Jenna Cole as the Athlete of the Week for women's basketball. It is the second time in Cole's career at La Roche that she has received the prestigious honor and first time this season. For the AMCC announcement, click here.

Jenna Cole helped the Redhawks remain perfect in conference play earning a 3-0 record on the week to improve to 11-0 in AMCC action. In the Redhawks first game at Franciscan, Cole dropped 14 points and nine rebounds in a 57-47 victory. In the AMCC Game of the Week against #2 seed Hilbert College, Cole recorded a team-high 21 points and a career-high 16 rebounds while shooting a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line. In the final game at Pitt-Bradford, Cole recorded her second straight double-double posting 15 points and 10 rebounds while adding three assists. On the week, Cole averaged 16.7 points per game, 11.7 rebounds per game and 2.0 assists per game, while knocking down 15-of-30 (50%) shots from the field, 5-of-9 (56%) from beyond and the arc and a near perfect 15-of-16 (94%) from the free throw line.
