Last Time Out: The Redhawks improved to 6-0 in conference play last Saturday after taking down the D'Youville Spartans at the Kerr Fitness Center, 61-57. The four point win is La Roche's closest margin of victory this season. Senior forward and AMCC Preseason Player of the Year, Jenna Cole, posted season-high's in both points (20) and rebounds (8). Cole knocked down 8 of 14 (57%) shots from the field and 3 of 6 (50%) from 3-PT range including a big transition three to help La Roche regain the lead late in the contest; a lead they would never relinquish. From beyond the arc, the lady Redhawks shot a combined 7 of 18 (39%), their third highest percentage in a game this season. Freshman Dashá Jackson provided production off the bench as she has done all season, posting a near double-double of 10 points and a game-high 9 rebounds in just 20 minutes of action. Danajah Sanders shot a perfect 4 of 4 from the field in a first quarter where she put up 10 points, but then shot 1 of 6 over the next three quarters and scored just three points. Shaundrea Butler picked up a big offensive board with 20 seconds remaining on the clock, drew the foul and knocked down two free-throws to seal the deal for the Redhawks.
