
Women's basketball freshman guard, Danajah Sanders, has been named the AMCC Player of the Week. Sanders joins Jenna Cole who won the award last week.
Sanders averaged 21.5 points, 5 steals, 4.5 assists, and 4.5 rebounds in two conference games last week. She had 11 points, 7 rebounds, 4 rebounds, and 4 steals on Wednesday at Penn State Behrend. She then had a career-high 32 points, with 6 steals and 5 rebounds in a victory at Pitt-Bradford on Saturday.
Sanders has scored in double-figures in eight straight games and is averaging 11.8 points per games on the season. She ranks sixth in the AMCC in steals.
