Wade & Murgenovich Earn All-AMCC Honors

NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. - La Roche softball had two selections to the 2025 AMCC All-Conference teams, both earned by outfielders Maura Wade and Brooke Murgenovich, announced by the conference on Tuesday.

Maura Wade

The sophomore outfielder earned her first All-Conference selection, being named First Team All-AMCC outfield.

Wade was arguably the best all-around player for the Redhawks. She finished AMCC play with a .358 batting average, collecting 19 hits, scoring 10 runs, four doubles and five RBI, primarily at the top of the order.

Overall, she finished fourth in the AMCC in batting average at .414, collected 46 hits, scored 25 runs, seven doubles, 17 RBI and was second in the AMCC in steals with 21.

Defensively, she boasted a .939 fielding percentage in AMCC play and an overall .956 fielding percentage.

Wade also spent time in the circle for the Redhawks, pitching to a 5-7 record with a 3.94 ERA, six complete games, struck out 38 batters and had a conference leading three saves.

Brooke Murgenovich

Earning her spot in the lineup upon her arrival to campus, the freshman wasted no time earning All-Conference status, being named Second Team All-AMCC outfield.

She finished in AMCC play with a .448 batting average (7th AMCC), 13 hits, three RBI and 10 stolen bases.

For the year, she hit .370, 34 hits, 28 runs scored and 32 stolen bases, which led the AMCC and is the most by a player in the AMCC since 2019 and 28th in the country.
