
NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. – La Roche University senior outfielder Ashtin Hoover and junior shortstop, Emma Bizay, earned AMCC Third Team All-Conference honors as the conference announced the 2024 AMCC All-Conference teams on Tuesday.
Hoover had a tremendous senior season for the Redhawks, as she was amongst the top of the AMCC in numerous categories.
Hoover ended the 2024 campaign with a .481 average (2nd AMCC, led outfielders), 50 hits (3rd AMCC, 2nd amongst outfielders), 27 runs scored (T-10th AMCC, 5th amongst outfielders), seven doubles, 18 RBI, 18 stolen bases (led AMCC), a .522 on base percentage (3rd AMCC, led all outfielders) and a .567 slugging percentage (9th AMCC, 3rd amongst outfielders).
In conference play, Hoover hit .412 (10th AMCC and 4th amongst outfielders), 21 hits (T-11th AMCC and 3rd amongst outfielders), scored 15 runs (T-11th AMCC and 5th amongst outfielders), stole 11 bases (T-2nd AMCC) and a .455 OBP (13th AMCC and 4th amongst outfielders).
Defensively, Hoover completed 64 of 66 plays on the year, a fielding percentage of .970, placing her T-5th amongst every day outfielders.
The Redhawks junior shortstop had yet another strong season for the red and black.
Bizay ended the season hitting .406 (8th AMCC and best amongst full time shortstops), 41 hits (T-12 AMCC and most amongst shortstops), scored 27 runs (T-11th AMCC and most by a shortstop) and a .451 OBP (10th AMCC, best by a shortstop).
In conference play, Bizay hit .326 (3rd amongst shortstops AMCC), 15 hits (T-3rd AMCC for shortstops), scored nine runs, added seven RBI and a slugging percentage of .413.
On the defensive end, Bizay ended the season with a .922 fielding percentage, completing 59 of 64 plays, placing her top five in the AMCC for shortstops.
