Milochik and Winslow Receive AMCC All-Conference Honors

PITTSBURGH, PA - Garrah Milochik and Kennedi Winslow were both named to the AMCC All-Conference Third Team following the team's spectacular postseason run this past week in the AMCC Championship tournament.

Milochik is being honored for her second year in a row as only a sophomore. The catcher played the entirety of the season with a bad knee but you wouldn't know that by looking at her stats. Milochik threw out 17 batters, and picked off one more. She led the AMCC in RBIs with 31 in regular season, and batted a .400 average. During the season She played in 33 games, saw 95 at-bats, 38 hits, 7 doubles, and 19 runs scored.

Winslow is a freshman making the All-Conference team for the first time this year as an outfielder. Despite being in her rookie season she took the field by storm. She led the AMCC in regular season with 18 stolen bases, only caught stealing once. Her speed isn't just beneficial on the bases, it also allows her to track down gap shots in the outfield and to make the most effective play possible. The freshman recorded 39 hits the season, 11 of which were extra base hits. She saw the field in all 34 games this season, recorded 103 at-bats, 39 hits, 6 doubles, 3 triples, 2 home runs, 33 runs scored, and 20 RBIs in regular season. She was also named AMCC Pitcher of the Week once this season.

Both of these athletes are returning for the 2023-24 season and we can't wait to see what they do.
