PITTSBURGH, PA - The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference released the Preseason Coaches' Poll ranking your Redhawks sixth in the pack. 

Two La Roche players to keep an eye on this season are Ashtin Hoover, and Garrah Milochik. 

Junior OF Ashtin Hoover (Ranson, WV/Jefferson HS)…First team all-conference two years in a row (2021 & 2022)…Led the team in hits last season with 38…Also contributed 17 RBIs and six stolen bases…Finished the year with a batting average of .452 and a slugging percentage of .619…Also a leader in the field with 59 total chances, 51 putouts, and six assists for a final fielding percentage of .966.

Sophomore INF Garrah Milochik (Petrolia, PA/Karns City HS)…AMCC second-team all-conference selection in 2022…Finished the season with a fielding percentage of .870 and a .449 batting average… Her highlights of the year included six doubles and one triple…She recorded 35 hits and 17 RBI.

The Redhawks are under new management this season with Head Coach Jason Kern taking over, and ready to get moving on the season.
