Alexa Young left a runner on second to end the first and then stranded runners at first and second in the second inning.

Mt. Aloysius advanced runners to first and second in the third, but Dayna Calloway made a sliding catch to keep the Mounties scoreless. 

The Redhawks backed Young with two runs in the bottom of the third. Young led off the inning with a double to the right field wall. Michaela Geracia walked and Devan Smith singled to load the bases. 

Dayna Calloway came through with a single up the middle and a 1-0 lead. Kayla Ordos was hit by a pitch two batters later for a two run lead.

Young then left runners on first and second in the fourth. 

The Mounties took the lead with a bases-loaded four run error in the fifth inning. They added five more runs and entered the bottom of the fifth with a 9-2 lead.

The Redhawks got two back in the bottom of the inning. Calloway hit a one-out single and moved to second on a Medva walk. Denk hit home Calloway and a Bretz groundout scored Medva.

Mt. Aloysius took a 14-4 lead in the sixth. The Redhawks answered with four in the bottom of the inning. Denk provided a two-run double and Ordos an RBI groundout. 

The Redhawks were held off the board in the seventh and Mt. Aloysius held on.

Denk hit in three and Ordos two. Calloway, Medva, and Smith each scored twice.

Kaylee Grassmyer threw a scoreless top if the first and the Redhawks scored in the bottom of the inning. Smith led off with a single through the right side and scored on an Ordos groundout. 

The Mounties responded with a string of two-out RBI hits for a 6-1 lead in the second. They used three errors to climb ahead 16-1 in the fourth.

Mt. Aloysius went on to earn the win.
