Men's Cross Country Competes In AMCC Championship

GREENSBURG, Pa. - La Roche men's cross country ran in the AMCC Cross Country Championships on Saturday afternoon, and in the end, the Redhawks placed fourth in the four team event.

Mariory Mondesir and Jailon Johnson led the way for the red and black, both placing in the top 30 of the 40 runner field.

Mondesir ended in 29th, breaking the tape with a time of 37:43.5, while Johnson placed 30th with a final time of 37:53.4.

Alston Boyle placed 32nd in the event at 42:25.6. Deklyn Simms (43:32.6) and Patrick Chewning (43:59.9) ended the day in 34th and 35th place.

Matthew Mars and Robert Johnson rounded out the field for the Redhawks in 39th and 40th respectively.
