
BETHANY, W.Va. - La Roche men's cross country opened the 2024 season at the Bethany Invitational, placing ninth as a team.
The Redhawks ended the day with score of 290, totaling 3:46:20 and an average time of 45:16.
Mariory Mondesir paced the red and black, finishing 91st in the 100 runner field, breaking the tape with a time of 41:49.5.
Following right behind Mondesir was Alston Boyle, whose time of 42:45.0 placed him 92nd.
Deklyn Simms and Jailon Jameson were just behind with 94th and 95th placed finishes, while Patrick Chewning ended in 97th and Robert Johnson and Matthew Mars rounded out the order in 99th and 100th.
The Redhawks are back on the course Saturday, Sept. 28 when they travel to Mt. Aloysius.
