CRESSON, Pa. – La Roche men's cross country competed in the Mountie Invitational, hosted by Mt. Aloysius on Saturday, placing sixth as a team.

In the men's 5K, Atai Aituvarov earned a top 15 finish in the 40 runner field, placing 15th with a time of 21:11.6.

Matthew Mars followed Aituvarov with a placement of 29th and a time of 24:42.5, while Nathan Stockton broke the tape at 25:34.3 to finish 32nd.

Rounding out the order for the Redhawks was Patrick Chewning and Robert Johnson in 39th and 40th place with times of 44:41.8 and 49:56.2 respectively.

La Roche returns to action on Thursday, Oct. 12 when they return to Mt. Alyosius for a dual meet.
