McCANDLESS, Pa. - The men's cross country raced in their first 5k of the season around La Roche's Campus this morning against AMCC schools Pitt Greensburg and Mt. Aloysius. The Redhawks placed 3rd with a team score of 46. Pitt Greensburg won the event with a team score of 31, four of their five runners finished in the top 10. Freshman Andy Domasky was the top finisher among 20 individual competitors finishing with a time of of 19:15.95 (average mile: 6:12). It's the first win of Domasky's collegiate career. His time today would have been the 7th fastest finish among AMCC runners in a 5k last season. Today was the final regular season invitational for the Redhawks. They will conclude their season at the AMCC Championship on November 2nd at Penn St. Behrend.
